AUNT BETTY'S LASAGNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. lean ground pork
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. basil leaves
2 c. cottage cheese
1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
12 oz. lasagne noodles

Brown and drain the ground beef and pork. Add the drained tomatoes to meat mixture. Combine tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano leaves and basil leaves. Add to meat mixture; bring to a boil, reduce and simmer 20 minutes.

Mix cottage cheese and 3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. Set aside 1 cup of meat mixture, 3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese.

In 13"x9" pan, alternate sauce, noodles, cottage cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining 1 cup of sauce, 3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese.

Bake, uncovered 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
