MICROWAVE BROWN BAG CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter (1/2 c.) 1/4 c. white syrup 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 3-4 qts. popped corn Combine sugar, butter and syrup in 1 1/2-2 quart microwave safe bowl. Put in microwave on high and bring to boil. Cook on high for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla and soda. Put popped corn in a brown paper bag. Pour syrup over corn and shake after closing bag. Cook in bag on high 1 1/2 minutes. Remove, shake bag, cook another 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from oven, pour onto large tray or cookie sheet and cool. Keep in tightly closed container. |
