1/2 c. butter, cut up
1 pouch onion soup mix
1 c. Wheat cereal squares
1 c. corn cereal squares
1 bag (6 oz.) cheddar cheese Goldfish crackers
1 bag (5 1/2 oz.) pretzel Goldfish crackers
2 c. unsalted peanuts

Place butter in microwave safe bowl. Cover with waxed paper; microwave on high 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in soup mix.

In 4 quart microwave safe bowl combine remaining ingredients. Pour butter mixture over cracker mixture; toss well to coat. Microwave, uncovered, on high 5 minutes or until hot, stirring twice during heating. Cool. Store in airtight container. This makes a marvelous after school snack!
