1, 2, 3 COBBLER | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1 lg. can fruit 1 c. self rising flour 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, flour, sift dry mixture together well. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Melt stick of butter in a 9 x 7 x 3 pan. Pour mixture in pan. Do not stir! Pour fruit into pan, juice and all. Do not stir! Take a butter knife and carefully spread fruit back and forth to even out. By not stirring this allows the batter to fold up and cover the fruit creating a cobbler. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until top is lightly brown. |
