1 1/2 lbs. lean hamburger 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 c. green peppers, diced 1 jar green olives, drained & rinsed well 1 c. fresh chopped mushrooms 2 cans tomato sauce 1 can tomato paste 1 bag broad noodles 1 bag shredded Mozzarella Parmesan cheese Brown hamburger in pot with mushrooms, onion, peppers and green olives. Add 2 cans sauce and 1 can paste. Add 1 1/2 cans of water using the paste can. Add salt and pepper and bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, after boiling turn to low. In a lasagne pan start to make layers. Meat mixture on bottom, cover with uncooked noodles, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese. Continue layers, end with meat layer on top. Sprinkle top with Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan. Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve with salad and garlic bread. Delicious. |
