1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix sugar and butter. Add egg and flavorings; mix thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting. Stir dry ingredients together and blend in. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Divide dough in half. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes. Taste great decorated with Buttercream Frosting.
