PRALINE CANDY | |
1 lb. light brown sugar 1/2 c. milk 2 c. pecans 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, milk, pecans, and salt in an iron skillet over medium heat. Cook until you see your first bubble. Continue to stir over medium heat for 5 more minutes, then remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Stir until ready to drop. Do not stir too long or the mixture will turn into sugar. Drop onto wax paper with newspaper under it. Drop from wooden spoon. Makes 20-30 pralines. |
