PECAN PRALINE CANDY 
1 1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. butterscotch pudding mix (not instant)
1 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Mix the pudding mix, white and brown sugar and evaporated milk together. Let it come to a boil and cook for about 3 minutes. Stir mixture or it will stick to pan. Add nuts and butter; beat until thick. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Should be hand enough to 1 hour to pick up with your fingers. If not cook again.

This should be cooked to soft ball stage about 235-245°F on a candy thermometer. Drop a scant amount into a bowl of cold water if if balls up, then remove from heat. If it does not thicken after you beat it - return to heat. Don't put in on wax paper and have to scape it off later!!!
