BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 
8 oz. elbow macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
8 oz. processed American cheese
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
2 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish. Cook macaroni as directed on package, drain well. Meanwhile prepare cheese sauce in medium saucepan. Melt butter, add flour and stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

Gradually add milk. Stir until mixed, cook until thick. Add cheese. Melt. Pour cheese sauce over macaroni and top with cheese and cracker crumbs and butter. Bake 20 minutes.
