TOMATO CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 qt. water, 3 1/2 cups 3 tbsp. sugar 1 lb. tomatoes 1 c. uncooked rice 1 med. onion, chopped 2 tsp. salt 1 lb. cubed Longhorn cheese Combine all ingredients except cheese. Bring to boil. Simmer 20 minutes. Place in greased casserole, alternating with 1 pound cubed cheese. Put butter pats on top. Bake 40 minutes at 325 degrees. |
