1 1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. Jello
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream shortening and flour. Add Jello, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Press flat with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not brown. Makes approximately 60 cookies.
