MEATY WILD RICE CASSEROLE 
3/4 c. uncooked wild rice
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 lb. lean pork, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 to 4 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. uncooked white rice
1/2 lb. lean beef, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 tbsp. shortening
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 3/4 to 2 c. chopped celery

Cook wild and white rice separately, following basic methods. Saute onion, beef and pork in shortening. Combine cooked rices, soy sauce, soup, water and celery. Mix together. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole; cover. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. 6 servings.
