BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. melted Crisco
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Mix Crisco and brown sugar. Blend in eggs, beaten well and vanilla. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread in greased 13x9x2 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into bars.
