BEEF STEW 
1/3 c. flour
Pepper and salt
2 1/2 lb. beef (butt or round), cubed
2 to 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 lg. onions, sliced
2 green peppers, chunked
2 celery stalks, cut in slices
1 lg. garlic clove, pressed
2 to 3 lg. carrots, chunked
4 med. potatoes, chunked
Turnip, cut up
Cabbage, cut up
3 c. beef broth
5 drops liquid red pepper seasoning
1/8 tsp. marjoram
3 tbsp. parsley

Combine flour, pepper and salt on a large piece of wax paper. Coat beef cubes well on all sides. Reserve flour for thicker gravy.
