GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. warm water
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

ICING:

3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Enough water to mix to spreading consistency

Cream sugar, mayonnaise, cocoa and vanilla. Add warm water. Sift flour, soda and salt and add to above. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Set on rack to cool. Combine icing and frost cooled cake.
