CANNED CHILI SAUCE | |
12 lg. tomatoes or 16 small ones 3 red or green peppers 3 lg. onions 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. allspice 2 c. vinegar 1 c. sugar Chop vegetables and combine with all the other ingredients in a large kettle. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until sauce is the desired consistency. Can in pint jars according to recommended procedures. |
