BAKED ONIONS 
12 med. size fresh onions, sliced
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, sliced
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (a MUST)
1/2 box bacon flavored crackers, crushed
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Salt & pepper

In a good sized casserole place alternate layers of sliced onions, crushed bacon crackers, cheese and gobs of soup. End with crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. (If onions aren't juicy, add 3 to 4 tablespoons milk while baking.) Serves 12.
