BISCUIT BREAD STICKS 
1/3 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Melt butter in 9"x13" pan. Remove pan from heat as soon as butter is melted. Mix the rest of ingredients in a bowl; roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut in rectangular strips; dip in butter and place close together in pan. Bake until golden brown. Serve hot. (1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese may be added to dough before rolling out; OR dough may be sprinkled with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon before baking.) These bread sticks are delicious dipped in hot spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce.
