BOOZY BOURBON BALLS 
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
1 c. walnuts, chopped fine
1 c. confectioners' sugar

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler over hot, but not boiling water. Remove from fire and stir in sugar and corn syrup. Blend in bourbon.

Combine crushed vanilla wafers and walnuts and add to chocolate mixture. Mix. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Let ripen in container covered with plastic. Let set at least 30 days to ripen. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
