GARLIC CHEESE GRITS 
1 c. white hominy grits
4 c. water
2 (4 oz.) rolls, garlic cheese, cubed
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
Bread crumbs
Salt & pepper

Cook grits in boiling salt water; add butter, cheese and beaten egg and milk, a little at a time. Put in well greased baking dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and dot with a pat of butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until brown.
