OLD FASHIONED BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. navy beans, 2 1/2 c.
1 qt. water
1/2 med. onion, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. molasses
2 tbsp. ketchup
Dash of pepper
1/2 lb. ham, cubed

Simmer beans in water 30 minutes. Drain, but keep liquid. Combine beans and the rest of the ingredients in a casserole dish or bean pot. Cover with liquid. Bake 7-8 hours at 250 degrees. Add water as needed.
