GROUND BEEF & POTATO BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
Salt & pepper to taste
1 med. onion, sliced
1 (10 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
3 med. potatoes, scrubbed & sliced 1/2 inch thick
1/2 soup can milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and drain ground beef; place evenly in bottom of 3-quart casserole. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with onion slices. Top with layer of potato slices. Again season with salt and pepper. In a mixing bowl, mix together soup and milk. Pour over potato layer. Bake uncovered until potatoes are tender, about 50 to 60 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Keeps well in refrigerator before and after baking.
