DANISH KRINGLE 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. scalded milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
4 c. flour, sifted

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Pour scalded milk over sugar, salt and butter. When lukewarm, add yeast and eggs. Add flour and knead dough into smooth ball. Cover and bake in refrigerator overnight OR for several hours. This dough can make 2 or 3 kringles.

Roll each 1/4 inch thick; spread on filling. Roll up each cake and make gashes 2/3 through. Nice shaped in crescent shape. Allow to rise and bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
