1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. butter
1 to 2 c. coconut (flaked)
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Mix the above ingredients and spread on baked yellow cake while still hot. Brown to a golden brown under the broiler.
