ORIENTAL CRUNCH COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. crushed instant coffee
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped almonds

Mix all ingredients together except almonds. Press into 10" x 6" cookie sheet. Press almonds onto top. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Let pan cool for 1/2 hour, remove and break into pieces.
