KENTUCKY WONDER POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted, self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
4 egg yolks
1 c. crushed pineapple (juice included) or 1 sm. can crushed pineapple
2 tsp. hot water
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts (floured)
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Combine all ingredients except nuts and egg whites. Beat well. Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into ungreased cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

GLAZE:

Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 c. sugar

Cook and pour over cake while hot.
