MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 to 4 qts. popped popcorn

Combine all ingredients, except soda and popcorn. Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes on high. Take out and stir in soda. Put popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour syrup on popcorn and shake to coat. Cook in bag on high 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and shake. Cook again 1 1/2 minutes - out and shake. Cook again 30 seconds. Set out on cookie sheet to dry. It is ready to eat.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
