MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter 1/4 c. Karo syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 to 4 qts. popped popcorn Combine all ingredients, except soda and popcorn. Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes on high. Take out and stir in soda. Put popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour syrup on popcorn and shake to coat. Cook in bag on high 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and shake. Cook again 1 1/2 minutes - out and shake. Cook again 30 seconds. Set out on cookie sheet to dry. It is ready to eat. |
