MEXICANA CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. taco seasoning (2 oz.)
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 pkg. (20 oz.) flour or corn tortillas
2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in large skillet. Saute until beef is brown then drain fat. Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water.

In 8x10 inch cake pan, arrange alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and cheese until all is used. Place extra tomato sauce on top of last layer of tortillas. Bake at 350 degrees 30-40 minutes.
