MOM'S PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white syrup
Pinch salt

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes. Then further reduce heat to 325 degrees and finish baking for 12 to 15 minutes.
