OLD WORLD SAUERKRAUT 
3 strips bacon, crumbled
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
2 lbs. sauerkraut
2 med. potatoes
2 med. apples
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
3 lbs. Polish Kielbasa
1/2 c. water

Fry bacon. Mix flour with bacon grease. Cut up kielbasa, apples and potatoes. Stir all ingredients together and place in crock pot. Cook on low 7 to 9 hours; high 3 to 4 hours. Bagged sauerkraut is best.
