SIMPLE 1 LOAF WHEAT BREAD | |
1 c. warm water 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 tbsp. honey 1 tbsp. molasses 1 tsp. salt 1 c. whole wheat flour Mix together and let stand 10 minutes. Stir down and let stand 15 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons lecithin and 2 cups whole wheat flour or mixed (wheat, soy and white). Knead for 3 minutes. Shape into 1 large or 2 small loaves. Let rise in pans until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Chopped dates or nuts may be added with last flour. For 2 small loaves bake only about 35 minutes. |
