WILD RICE SURPRISE 
1 1/2 c. wild rice
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 stick butter
2 1/2 to 3 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped walnuts

Saute onions, garlic, and bell pepper in butter until tender. Mix walnuts and rice to the above. Add broth, salt, and pepper to taste. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes at 325 degrees.
