DUTCH APPLE DESSERT 
5 med. apples (about 5 c.), pared, cored & sliced
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. cold butter
1 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In medium bowl, combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon. In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup Bisquick mix until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch baking pan. In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup Bisquick mix and 1/2 cup brown sugar; cut in remaining 2 tablespoons butter until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture. Bake 1 hour or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or Cool Whip if desired. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
