2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts

Combine sugar, water and syrup. Cook, stirring constantly over heat until mixture is dissolved. Now cook, without stirring, until syrup reaches color stage. Pour mixture over egg whites and beat until mixture holds shape, add vanilla, nuts and drop on buttered cookie sheet.
