NUT ROLL 
DOUGH:

9 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 yeast cakes
1 pt. milk
6 egg yolks

FILLING:

5 lbs. ground nut meats
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 egg whites (beat stiff)

Mix the above dough ingredients with a little more than a pint of milk which has been heated and cooled. Knead the dough. work in the yolks. Let dough rise in a warm place. Then divide the dough in nine parts. Roll out the pieces of dough out like pie crusts. Add filling and roll (into a loaf). Close edges. Let loaves rise again again before baking. Bake on cookie sheets for 30 minutes in 400 degree oven. Makes 9 loaves.
