BISHOP'S FRUITCAKE 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped dates
8 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. drained maraschino cherries
2 c. chopped nuts

Beat eggs. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add nuts, dates and cherries. Add chocolate chips to sifted, dry ingredients and mix into batter. Grease and line loaf pan with wax paper. Pour into pans and bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
