FLAT BREAD 
2 c. white flour
1 1/2 c. wheat flour
1 1/2 c. buttermilk & 1 tsp. baking soda added
1/4 c. sugar (generous amt.)
3/4 c. shortening, cream into flour mixture

Mix above ingredients into dough. Roll dough out in flour and cornmeal until quite thin. Cut rolled dough in pieces. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. (If bread doesn't crisp, put in oven again at 200 degrees.)
