PUMPKIN TORTE 
CRUST:

24 graham crackers, crushed
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

1ST LAYER:

2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese

2ND LAYER:

2 c. pumpkin
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 env. plain gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
3 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar

TOPPING:

1/2 pt. whipping cream

Crust - Mix crushed graham crackers, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup butter and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan.

1st layer - Mix 2 beaten eggs, 3/4 cup sugar and cream cheese Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and cool.

2nd layer - Mix and heat pumpkin, egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, milk, salt and cinnamon until it thickens. Remove from heat and add gelatin dissolved in cold water. Cool. Beat egg whites, 1/4 cup sugar and fold into pumpkin mixture. Pour over cooled, baked crust. Top with whipped cream.
