CANDIED WALNUTS 
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. walnuts

Mix first 5 ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to boil and cook until thick (soft ball stage). Add walnuts, stir well. Spread on waxed paper, separating quickly. Hardens in about 5 minutes.
