1 c. butter
1 box dark brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Mix as listed; will be stiff batter. Drop by spoon on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven about 15 minutes.
