WATERGATE CAKE 
1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. white cake mix
1 (13 1/2 oz.) pkg. pistachio pudding mix (dry)
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. Sprite

Combine ingredients. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Pour in cake pans and bake at 350 degrees. Cool on racks after turning out.

COVER UP ICING:

1 (9 oz.) c. Cool Whip
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. pistachio pudding mix (dry)

Add pudding mix to Cool Whip and beat until fluffy. Top with pecans.
