ONION AND RICE PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
2 tbsp. butter
1 cup uncooked rice
1 env. onion soup mix (Lipton)
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (reserve liquid)
hot water

Brown chops in butter. Spread rice in bottom of 9x13-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle sliced mushrooms and soup mix over rice, reserving 1 tablespoon mix.

Add hot water to reserved mushroom liquid to total 3 cups. Pour over rice. Arrange browned chops on top and sprinkle remaining onion soup mix.

Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more before serving.

Serves 6.
