MEXICAN CHALOOPAS 
3 lbs. hamburger
3 lg. tomatoes, diced
1 head lettuce
1 block med. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 cans stewed tomatoes
Onions, diced (optional)
1 pkg. frozen Torella shells (12 to pkg.)
Crush peppers

Cook hamburger in frying pan. Brown about 3 tablespoons of flour in fry pan, stirring constantly. This will make a paste. Next, put in your stewed tomatoes (mash them before putting them in.) Stir constantly then add a small amount of water so it won't be to thick. Add salt, pepper and crushed peppers. This dish is suppose to be spicy. Salt to your taste. Let sauce simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Put cooking oil in pot and get hot. Add your frozen tortilla shell and flip over immediately. This is to be limp. Take out immediately and put in the tomato sauce. Saturate it well then put on plate. (you have to be fast and get them in and out of the grease. Place on plate. Add hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions (optional), then layer all over again with one more. Serves approximately 5 or 6.

This recipe has to be eaten hot, so have everyone ready to eat before you start. Enjoy, it is delicious!
