BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stewing beef
4 beef bouillon cubes
2 env. instant onion soup
2 c. carrots, sliced
2 c. potatoes, cut up
2 c. celery, sliced
8-10 c. water, more if needed later
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown beef and add water, beef cubes, instant onion soup. Cover and cook for about 1-1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost done. Add carrots, potatoes and celery, continue to cook until vegetables are done, about 40-50 minutes. Thicken liquid, carefully blending into stew. Serve with cornbread.
