BANANA SPLIT CAKE | |
2 c. Zwieback crumbs (1 box crushed Zwieback crackers) 1 stick melted butter 2 c. powdered sugar 2 sticks butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 5 bananas, sliced 2 c. drained, crushed pineapple 1 qt. Cool Whip 1/2 c. nuts 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries Press in 9 x 13 inch pan Zwieback crumbs and melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes; cool. Beat powdered sugar, 2 sticks butter, eggs and vanilla 20 minutes - no less. Spread on cooked crumb crust. Slice bananas and arrange over cake. Spread pineapple on top. On top of that, put Cool Whip. Sprinkle nuts and cherries. |
