1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
3/4 c. melted lard
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. nutmeats

Combine sugars, butter, lard and eggs. Add flour and other ingredients. Put dough on sheet of wax paper in log. Shape and fold wax paper around it. Refrigerate overnight. Slice cookies from roll and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degree oven.
