TACO SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn up
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 tomatoes, diced
1 pkg. taco seasonings
1 pkg. nacho chips

Brown ground beef. Add taco seasonings minus 1 tablespoon; drain. Layer all ingredients in a large container, beginning with lettuce and ending with cheese. Cover and refrigerate 6-8 hours at serving time. Crunch nachos over salad and add dressing.

DRESSING:

1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian dressing
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. taco seasoning
