BEEF STROGANOFF 
1/2 to 3/4 lb. beef sirloin or round steak about 1/2 inch thick
2 tbsp. butter
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushrooms
1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tbsp. catsup
1 sm. clove garlic or 1/8 tsp. instant minced garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
4 oz. egg noodles
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sour cream

Cut meat into 1/2 inch strips. Melt butter in pan. Cook and stir mushrooms and onion until tender. Remove vegetables from pan.

In same pan brown meat over medium heat. Stir in 1/2 cup water; bouillon cube, catsup, garlic and salt. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions. Mix 1/4 cup water and flour, stir into meat mixture, add mushrooms and onion. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve on noodles.
