COATING MIXTURE FOR CHICKEN OR
PORK CHOPS
 
2 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs (whole wheat is best)
2 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. each garlic powder & onion powder
1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. dried oregano flakes

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Now, coat pieces of meat. Lay pieces of coated meat in an 11"x7"x2" baking pan and drizzle a little melted butter or butter over all and bake, uncovered in a preheated oven for about 1 hour and 20 minutes (for a 2 to 3 pound fryer). 4 servings.
