PEACH JAM | |
1" of fresh ginger root 1/2 tsp. ground allspice 2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces 1 tsp. whole cloves 1 cracked peach seed 2 lbs. peaches 1/2 c. peach juice 2 c. sugar Tie spices and peach seed in a cheesecloth bag. Add all ingredients together until temperature of 222 degrees F. is reached on a jelly thermometer. Remove spice bag, pour jam into hot sterilized jar and seal. |
